Arguably one of the best races in the season... the first street track in Asia and the first night race in the history of F1. The race started well with Massa leading and Raikkonen closing-in on 2nd place Hamilton until Ferrari's 1st pit stop. Their stupid electronic lollipop system signalled Massa to go even if fueling wasn't done. He dragged the fuel hose, still attached to the car, all the way down the pit lane. Because of that, they had to replace the hose that was going to be used by Raikkonen. This caused both drivers to lose a lot of time while the other cars zoomed by. Raikkonen astonishingly made it back to 5th place but crashed less than 4 laps before the end of the race. What a bummer for Ferrari, no championship points for them! It was still a great race nonetheless... Piquet crashed right in front of us and Alonso won it coming from 15th place. At least Hamilton didn't win. Hehehe
Other highlights:
- Russ Swift made me stand between the 2 cars in his parallel handbrake parking stunt
- I lost my cam in MOS. Boo!
- Our Singapore dollar-earning friends treating us every chance they can get. Hahaha! Cheers!

The Sykes Global Picnic is a yearly tradition held by all Sykes centers all over the world. I've been to every one of them since I started with the company 5 years ago but this one was definitely the craziest ever. The best so far!

| | Team Sperm Whale invades Galera!
A lot has changed since the last time I was there 3 years ago... Ang pangit na!! Everything's expensive, mas mura pa sa Bora. Mas madami pang tao kaysa sa Bora nung Holy Week. Never again...
Anyway, it was still a blast with my team along with Bolet, Mik, Sher, Pao, Zheilla, Sheila, Mina and Joanne.

| | This is how you set apart surfers from regular beach folk.. when you charge bad weather and floods just to get some action.
- traveled for 7 hours but it was definitely the happiest 'trip' going to Zamba. ;)
- arrived at Canoe 3 PM then watched the comp at Magic Left, small clean waves perfect for the comp.
- wild-on party by nightfall. Sidhi played. fun crowd.
- surfed Magic Left the following day.
- Artie, Karen, Pao and I left ahead of the crew just when the Sunday night party was starting to heat up.
- my beer buds made salubong my birthday with me when I got home, tapped out when the sun came out.
- great weekend. epic.

| | Another TSC session in La Union, I never saw waves there that huge. Most breaks were too big for sane heads so we surfed dirty ol' Car-rille. Medium-sized, friendly waves gave nice long rides though it was such a struggle to paddle back because of the current and wind.
Chilled for the rest of the day to save energy for the Sunday morning session, only to find out the waves still weren't willing to cooperate. Anyway, it's all good. As long as you have good company, chichi, and booze. =)

| | Came straight from Jeff's nth birthday bash at Good Earth Roasts Rockwell with the usual suspects. Almost dinged my head when Darcy's nose hit me at the Point.
Highlight of the trip: free yellowfin tuna and prawn lunch c/o Paul. Talaap!

| | Overhead waves (for some people) =P We bummed around for the most part of the day waiting for waves. It started pumping mid-afternoon and it sure got crowded! Another steady session with the crew. Most were picnapped from Mons, Jeff, and Karen.
